Its now been 3 months since Leena Najia began with SP Therapy Services. In that time she has integrated seamlessly into the SP Therapy Services team, and is receiving glowing feedback from her clients and colleagues.
Leena said;
“What an exciting few months it has been joining SPTS. Staring a new job whilst in a pandemic was particularly daunting especially as I hadn’t actually met anyone in person! My nerves were soon quelled as everyone at SPTS has made me feel extremely welcome, each person made the effort to introduce themselves and try to put my mind at ease which I appreciated greatly. I was really looking forward to picking up the ore and rowing with the rest of the SPTS team especially now everything was opening up and services are resuming again (particularly the hydrotherapy pool!). Having slowly met everyone (by video for my further away colleagues) I feel like an integrated member of the team. I have really enjoyed getting to know my patients and helping resume the Bolton Neuro Voice Hydrotherapy group. Most of all I have enjoyed doing what us physios do best, cracking on and helping people be the best they can be. I am really looking forward to our upcoming team day where I can finally meet everyone in person. A big thanks to the SPTS team for making me feel welcome.”
Susan Pattison, Director of SP Therapy Services, is delighted with the start Leena has made;
“When trying to identify a potential therapist to join our SPTS the most important personal traits I am looking for are a passion for patient contact and a great team member and Leena has proved herself to have both traits under the most difficult of circumstances. Now she has settled in I am really looking forward to seeing Leena and the physiotherapy team develop to enhance the services we can offer our patients with acquired brain injury and complex needs living in our communities”
