Specialist Skills & Expertise

Heather joined the Practice in 2008 and draws on her vast clinical experience with both adults and children living with complex conditions

Heather’s current role is as one of our Clinical Coordinator; she does not hold an active caseload.

Her priority is the clinical supervision of our Occupational Therapy team. She works closely with our other Clinical Coordinator Jayne Hallford to uphold standards across the Practice.

She is renowned for her high standards and attention to detail and within the Practice, she is affectionately referred to as Mrs P., Heather says: “As the Practice is growing I want to ensure that we share the same core values that have made it successful to date. My role involves the induction of new team members to ensure they understand and meet our core competencies and the development of an audit tool for our SMART Goals.”

In addition, Heather is a Committee member of the recently formed Rochdale & Bury Headway Group & the coordinator for the NWABI Network.

Heather is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists & is registered to the Health & Care Professions Council, the regulatory body that upholds the standards of practice for professions allied to medicine.

When Heather isn’t working she is kept busy as a homemaker and mum to her two energetic & maturing boys. She sings in a ladies choir too. She would like to be a domestic goddess but hasn’t reached this goal yet!

Heather’s full CV is available on request.
