On Saturday, Heather T attended the Aquatic Therapy Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (ATACP) study day in Birmingham. Attendees were updated in emergency evacuation procedures and soft-tissue techniques in water. The course was led by Ann Thomson, physiotherapist and Former Director of Post Graduate Physiotherapy Studies at UCL. Ann is Consultant in Post Graduate Education for the ATACP and examiner for the ATACP Foundation Course.
The course adds to Heather’s expertise in hydrotherapy, and will continue to come in useful both during treatment sessions with her individual patients, and in planning and carrying our Neuro Voices Hydrotherapy Project.
