I am an experienced neurological physiotherapist with a passion for neurological pilates.
My specialism is working with clients in the community, I strongly believe this is where we can make the most positive difference to an individuals quality of life.
My work within the community gives me the opportunity to challenge and progress patients beyond their capabilities at hospital discharge. I have taken patients skiing, adapted cycling, aqua aerobics and horse therapy. Treating clients in real-world environments gives patients the motivation for rehabilitation.
I am a specialist in neurological pilates, incorporating not only the benefits of increased strength, endurance, mobility and balance, but also integrating mindfulness which I know to be such a vital element in successful brain injury rehabilitation.

Rebecca Dickson
Bradford and West Yorkshire
I am a community-based Neurological Physiotherapist working across Bradford and the surrounding areas. With over a decade of hands-on experience as a therapy assistant in people’s homes, I have supported individuals from a wide range of backgrounds to rebuild function, regain confidence, and re-engage with their communities.
I am passionate about helping people reach their maximum potential for independence. I work collaboratively with individuals and their support networks to set meaningful rehabilitation goals and make informed choices that shape their recovery journey.
Having had close personal experience of neurological conditions, I understand the value of lived experience in building strong, trusting relationships with patients and their families. I bring empathy and connection to my work, and I value the importance of a multidisciplinary approach—working alongside other professionals to support rehabilitation that is meaningful and effective.
With more than 13 years in healthcare—first as a home carer and then as a therapy assistant—I’ve nurtured a deep commitment to rehabilitation. I completed my Physiotherapy degree at the University of Bradford in 2024 and continued working in rehabilitation support roles before joining SP Therapy Services.
I’ve always been curious and eager to learn. I’ve actively participated in MDT meetings, shadowed professionals across disciplines, and embraced every opportunity to grow. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for collaborative working and continue to inform my development as a physiotherapist.
