SP Therapy Services Meet with CEO of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

Back in 2015 Karen Middleton became CEO of CSP and tweeted that she would like to visit members. Susan Pattison took up this offer and Karen had a very influential visit to the Practice.

After the pandemic started to ease Karen tweeted again that she was looking forward to getting out and about again, Susan invited her to meet the team once more and exchange stories about how their respective professional lives had changed.

Susan also contacted Glen Whitehead, Associate Solicitor at Irwin Mitchell, whom she had collaborated with during the pandemic to deliver webinars on remote therapy via video link. Glen agreed to join the meeting and to host the event at his offices at Irwin Mitchell, Sheffield.

Karen supported by the Director of Practice & Development Ash James met with Susan, Jayne Hallford and Glen Whitehead on 17^th August 2022.

Karen and Ash were keen to learn about SP Therapy services journey through the pandemic, the ups and the downs. And also, to learn about the working relationship of solicitors and therapists supporting rehabilitation of patients via compensation claims.

Karen and Ash shared the progress the CSP had made with their community rehab campaign and how the CSP supports private practice.

All agreed a very positive day!
