SP Therapy Services Hosts its Inaugural Webinar!

On Thursday 4th June 2020, SP Therapy Services hosted its inaugural Webinar; Remote Neurological Physiotherapy, possible, but is it preferable?

The SP Therapy Services’ Physiotherapy team shared their experiences of the rapid deployment of Neurological Physiotherapy by video link during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The Webinar was introduced and chaired by Susan Pattison, Director and Physiotherapist and the team members involved were; Anna Ziemer, Jayne Hallford and Andrew McVittie.

The Webinar was attended by a broad range of Physiotherapy professionals; we had Educators, Physiotherapists, Case Managers, Solicitors and Nutritionists from across the spectrum.

The Team introduced themselves and proceeded to answer the following questions;

Question 1: What factors contributed to our ability to rapidly transfer to remote sessions?

Question 2: So we have demonstrated it is possible, but is it preferable? Can you describe a treatment session and what worked well and what didn’t

Question 3: As lockdown is easing, and we return to Face to Face contact what have you learned from this experience?

At the end the floor was opened up to questions from our attendees.

The Webinar was very successful and we enjoyed hosting our 30 attendees and hope everyone found it useful.
