Specialist Skills & Expertise
Andy joined the practice in 2019 having realised from day one that the drive and passion he has for Physiotherapy was best fulfilled in the area of complex neurological presentation.
Andy is proficient in the treatment and management of:
Head Injury · Stroke · MS · Parkinson’s Disease · Guillain-Barre · Minimally conscious & low awareness patients · Spinal Cord Injuries · Ventilated Patients · Cerebral Palsy
Andy strongly believes in an individualised approach, encompassing the wishes and interests of the patient within achievable, short-term, goals leading to the attainment of their long-term aims and full potential.
To achieve this their rehabilitation must be meaningful and have the support of the patient and their support network. Effective and empathetic communication builds a bespoke therapeutic relationship between us all and ensures the needs of the patient are met.
Andy is a member of the Chartered Society Of Physiotherapy & is registered to the Health & Care Professions Council, the regulatory body that upholds the standards of practice for professions allied to medicine.
Outside work, Andy spends time with his children and family and follows his enthusiasm for rock climbing, mountaineering, running and cycling as much as he can.
