Jane Raleigh REJOINS SP Therapy Services

We are delighted to announce that Jane Raleigh will be re-joining the SP Therapy Services Team on 17th November 2020. Jane will be working across the East Lancashire and West Yorkshire area.

Jane gained a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from University of Huddersfield in 2010 and has worked in a variety of clinical settings, treating patients with neurological diagnoses in an intensive care setting and also a rehabilitation unit. Jane originally joined the practice in 2015, alongside our Occupational Therapist, Franki Collinson, but left in 2018 for an extended period of maternity leave. We as a team are delighted to have Jane back on board!

Upon rejoining us Jane said:

“I am thrilled to be re-joining the SPTS team following the birth of my second daughter. For those that already know me, I was green all of my pregnancy and the challenges didn’t end following her arrival, in fact I would have to admit that the year after I gave birth was THE most challenging year of my life to date (and this was pre-COVID and home schooling!).  Thankfully, I have 2 beautiful, intelligent and happy girls that daily make me laugh and so very proud. Over the past year, I have entered into the world of Chronic Rehabilitation utilising Clinical Matwork and Reformer Pilates as a treatment intervention and I am really looking forward to bringing this new skill set to the SPTS team and to our clients. I hope to meet you soon, either in person or via video link!”

Jayne Hallford is delighted that Jane is rejoining us, she said;

“I am really thrilled about the return of our colleague Jane Raleigh.  Jane is enthusiastic about treating patients with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions, her ability to unpick the complex presentations in our patients means that she works with her patients to develop meaningful and realistic goals within their rehabilitation. She has a wicked sense of humour that as a colleague I love as its infectious. She is just the tonic if you’re having a bad day. Jane is fabulous team player, dedicated, willing to share knowledge and her experiences, wanting the best for her patients and colleagues. Welcome back Jane. I am so excited to be working with you again!”

Susan Pattison, Company Director, was also delighted that Jane decided to rejoin the team;

“Jane was an integral part of the team at SP Therapy Services before she left on maternity leave in 2018. In the midst of this ever changing landscape it is really positive to welcome her back; her good humour, professional solidity and clinical expertise add a really positive dimension to the team”
